…happened Friday night. After weeks of temps in the 70’s and 80’s, the temperature dropped rapidly in the afternoon to a hard wind and 32 degrees…not counting the wind chill! So I picked all the green tomatoes (beefsteak, cherry and yellow pear) in preparation.

However, we did cover up the squash and zucchini plants because there were tiny 3″ starts of squash….and I think they’ll survive!
And, in the meanwhile, we have all these lovely green tomatoes. I’m still trying to make up my mind if I want to do some green tomato recipes, or just let them sit on the counter and ripen.
What would you do?
