Feta cheese is a white crumbly cheese that dates back thousands of years in Greek cooking. It has a rich salty flavor which makes it the perfect addition to many dishes without adding a lot of fat. It has significantly less fat content than most cheeses, making it a staple in our house.
We use it on pasta dishes, regular and bean salads, to add tang to vegetable dishes, you name it! Several months ago I found this brand in our local market; the taste cannot be beat! Our favorite is the Tomato and Basil flavor, which is a perfect flavor profile for most anything; the Tomato and Basil is very subtle.
