5 Things I’ve Learned from Homeschooling an Only Child–Revisited

Homeschooling an OnlyThis week’s TOS Crew Blog Carnival is centered around a subject that is near and dear to my heart….homeschooling an only child!

My sweet husband and I were blessed with only one child—our son Jackson—after years of hoping and dreaming about a baby.  We were so thrilled, as you can imagine, when he finally showed up!

a June2014 038At my friend Gwen’s blog, Tolivers to Texas, I shared a post called “5 Things I Learned Homeschooling an Only Child.”  I’d love for you to pop over to her blog and read it!  I have learned many things over the years, but these are some of the most important.  If you are considering homeschooling and you are the parent of an only child,  you might enjoy checking this out!

Gwen and her family are on staff with Wycliffe Bible Translators.  She has also written a marvelous book that’s full of amazing adventure stories…all about missionaries!  You can read my review of “Seed Sowers:  Gospel-Planting Adventures” and check it out further on Tolivers to Texas.  I highly recommend it.  It makes a fantastic family read-aloud!

Other Schoolhouse Review Crew members are sharing their experiences of life with an only during this blog carnival.  Don’t miss their wonderful posts!

Enjoy!  –Wren
