Tuesday, February 10th…National Cream Cheese Brownie Day!

Whenever there is a bake sale at work, I hustle over to the supermarket and buy a box mix (of course) of Pillsbury Cheesecake Swirl Brownie Mix! It’s effortless and they sell like hotcakes!

NATIONAL CREAM CHEESE BROWNIE DAY

On February 10th we celebrate National Cream Cheese Brownie Day.  It is a day for all to celebrate one of America’s favorite bar cookie, the brownie, with cream cheese swirled into the top of it or within it. The brownie has been around since the 1800′s, but was first documented in 1906 in The Boston Cooking School Cook Book. There are hundreds of cream cheese brownie recipes.  We are sure that you will find one that you like.  Maybe you would like to bake a pan of these delicious brownies and share them with your family and friends!
