Our regular readers may remember that Jackson and I reviewed Brookdale House‘s incredible geography course, Drawing Around the World: USA. (You can see our finchnwren review here, if you’d like to refresh your memory!)
It is the most fantastic curriculum for teaching geography. Painless, even! Instead of drilling and killing states and their capitals over and over, Drawing Around the World: USA gently yet thoroughly teaches where each state is and where its capitals is. Students do 1-3 states per week, and by the end of the curriculum will have learned and be able to draw on a map where each one is!
I recommend this completely to you! It really is my most favorite curriculum, and method, for teaching geography. And since Jackson is in 8th grade, you know I’ve been through a few of them!
So, why am I reminding you of this?
For a VERY short time (so, jump on this IMMEDIATELY if you’re intrigued), Brookdale House is offering this fantastic course via Amazon for only $7.05! Brookdale House has rebranded it, so it has a new title: Geography for Kids: Drawing the USA from Memory Geography Workbook. The cover and title are different, but the contents are the same awesome course Jackson and I reviewed.
I truly encourage you to take advantage of this great opportunity. I am telling you this simply because I think so highly of this course and this company! I will not receive any “commissions” or payment for letting you know about this. I just want you to be blessed!
Geography for Kids: Drawing the USA from Memory Geography Workbook is available through the link at Amazon, in print form. This sale won’t last long though…so hop over to Amazon!
