National Eat a Red Apple Day!
Not sure who designates these days, but it’s pretty fun stuff!
So I was curious about the old adage: “An apple a day keeps the Doctor away.” So I did a little research which led me nowhere; the majority of sources cannot confirm the accuracy of this statement. Oh well, it rhymes!

I thought it would fit to post a toy review on Black Friday…even though this was written on Wednesday…and I also got him on that day…never mind that, I am here to review Zing’s StikBot, aka the Social Media Sharing Toy!

First off, he has great posing ability, as he can have his (or her) arms, legs and head turned and positioned to your liking!
StikBot comes in many colors, but the one I got was the azure/turquoise blue version.
Of course, StikBot is intended for stop-motion, and works very well for it! In fact, I already made a stop-mo with him and he can be used very well! However, he fell over a lot, but maybe it was just the surface I had him on.
Next up is the fact that his hands and feet are suction cups, meaning many possibilities for places you can put him on in your videos/pictures.
There are pretty much infinite possibilities for this little fella, including that you can get him for a good price. He is only about $5 and some tax at my local Wal-Mart, meaning you can buy several of them for a reasonable price, or get the StikBot Studio ($10), which I will be reviewing in the future.
Size-wise, they are very-well sized for their price, as I just measured him, and he is about 3” tall.
Overall, whoever came up with this idea deserves a big raise, because StikBot is very awesome for private or shared stop-motion videos or even maybe a StikBot Selfie!

Last weekend I decided it was time to add a really cute metallic accessory to my wrist; another item from Flash Tattoos. Peel backing apply to site, hold wet paper towel on backing for 30 seconds and slide off. Viola! instant jewelry accent.
Lasted about a week and came off with baby oil!

We decided to do a company fundraiser last week for Red Nose Day; we were able to have 2000 noses donated and sold them to our associates for $1.00 each. Everyone was encouraged to take selfie’s with their noses on and we posted them on our social media site with a shout out to the vendor who donated!
We had a blast doing it and raised over 300.00 (all proceeds direct to charity). Here is one of my photos:

National Sea Monkey Day is celebrated each year on May 16. I think my sister had them and I remember countless ads on the back of comic books for them (imagine having to order by mail)!
Sea Monkeys are a type of ”Artemia” (brine shrimp). They got their name because of their monkey-tail like look.
trivia: Harold von Braunhut invented the “Sea Monkeys” and hatching kits in 1957. He was quoted as saying “I think I bought something like 3.2 million pages of comic book advertising a year. It worked beautifully.
Sea Monkeys were taken into space with astronaut John Glenn on October 29, 1998 aboard Space Shuttle Discovery. They returned to Earth after spending nine days in space and the eggs hatched eight weeks later, apparently unaffected by their travels.
I can’t think of anything better than this idea! Established on March 3rd, it was created to encourage us to do something to make another person happy or just crack a smile!

The organization (RED) is a special group that fights to stop AIDS in Africa. So now, (RED) has teamed with Apple and many world-famous apps and companies to save lives. And one of the games that recieved a special update was Angry Birds. That’s right, the original Angry Birds, along with many other games like Minion Rush, Clash of Clans and Cut the Rope 2 have received special updates with exclusive (RED) content, and while we’re on the subject of Angry Birds, let’s cover what it went through with the update, shall we?
Angry Birds: What’s New
Now, with that said, all of the apps that (RED) has teamed with, including Angry Birds, can be downloaded to save lives. And just like in Angry Birds, some in-app purchases have come to the other apps too (like Minion Rush). In Minion Rush, the Lifeguard minion, Red Token pack and Red Prize Pod have been added.
Please note that these special purchases and app versions are only available until December 7th, 2014, so please download these apps if you want them!
